Stenbjerg Landingsplads is home to a collection of characteristic white storage houses from around year 1900 when coastal angling took place on this beach. Today, recreational angling is done with smaller boats that can be handled using a tractor. The locals maintain the old buildings so that the landing area is still authentic, including the coast guard station which is home to a small exhibition about the history of Stenbjerg with a special focus on coast guarding. A small, manned visitors’ centre for Nationalpark Thy is located in one of the other houses.
