Søndervig is a beach town with a long history, and it has been one of the most popular beach towns in Denmark since the 1800s. In many places, you can find nice, old summer cottages on top of the dunes. Today, this is a modern holiday town with lots of eateries and shops, and the town is located in the middle of nature, surrounded by the sea, the inlet and the dunes. The wide beach is easily accessible and offers a great nature experience all year round. A large holiday resort is being constructed in Søndervig, ready for inauguration in 2022.
