Sneglehuset (meaning “the shell”) is a very special and unique house which has been decorated with thousands of shells, mussels and conchs. One single man created this house as a life-long symbol of love for this wife. Inside Sneglehuset, you will find a large exhibition of snails, mussels, conchs, ships in bottles and exciting things that local fishermen have caught in their nets. Sneglehuset features a small shop where you can buy all kinds of amber items, jewellery, conchs and shells, and there is also a small coffee house where you can buy ice cream or enjoy a cup of coffee.
