The Fisheries and Maritime Museum in Esbjerg is the biggest museum of the human relation to the sea, the adjoining culture and life below the sea surface in Denmark. This museum has been collecting and showing the maritime history of Denmark since 1968. Amongst other activities, you can visit a large offshore exhibition for great insights into everything from oil and gas drilling to life on a drilling rig, and you can visit the permanent inhabitants, the seals, that are fed daily.
