In the dunes south of Hanstholm, you will find the open-air museum of Frilandsmuseet Hanstholm, one of the most well-preserved coastal gun batteries in Denmark. Frilandsmuseet Hanstholm is part of Bunkermuseum Hanstholm. Exploring these beautiful, undisturbed areas and the rugged bunker landscape is a great experience. There are 19 bunkers and most of them are accessible so that you can walk inside and imagine what it was like to lie here and guard a part of Skagerrak during WW II.
