Bøgsted Rende is the place on the coast of Thy where the dune plantation of Tvorup Klitplantage is closest to the sea. This area features the most stunning nature with lots of amazing contrasts. A narrow brook winds its way through the landscape heading for the sea. The sea mark, rising high above the vegetation and shaped like an hourglass, was built in 1884-85. These features turned the place into a popular day-trip destination many decades ago.
